Festive travel guide: Buses, DLR, Tramlink, River and Taxis

Here's your update for everything but the Tube and trains. Once again, travel is free on London Transport between 2345 and 0430 GMT over New Year.

Docklands Light Railway

New Year's Eve: modified weekday service with a limited service overnight.
New Year's Day: trains running every 10-15 minutes.
Friday 2nd January: normal service

Buses

New Year's Eve: buses will start to be withdrawn from central London as road closures go in. Buses will start and stop journeys from key point away from the Trafalgar Square and river areas.

In addition to regular night buses there will be an all-night on routes 51, 66, 71, 73, 92, 96, 97, 103, 109, 113, 114, 116, 120, 121, 123, 145, 157, 161, 163, 164, 169, 174, 178, 183, 185, 209, 210, 217, 221, 222, 229, 248, 252, 261, 262, 269, 275, 314, 319, 340, 358, 412, 422, 436 (Victoria - Lewisham), 444, C10, E1, E7, H12, U3, U4, W3 and W7.

New Year's Day: Sunday service.
Friday 2nd January: normal service

Tramlink

New Year's Eve: Saturday service. Overnight trams will run every 30 minutes from Wimbledon to Beckenham and New Addington.
New Year's Day: Sunday service.
Friday 2nd January: normal service.

River

Monday 29th - New Year's Day: reduced services. River services will not run overnight on New Year's Eve.

Friday 2nd January: normal service except no boats between Putney and Blackfriars.
