BBC London’s Alison Freeman…

I’m Alison Freeman - your reporter for Newham and Tower Hamlets. Tell me about the stories that are happening in your area….

Starting out as a local newspaper reporter, I've always been interested in the stories that have an effect on people’s daily lives.

I joined BBC London in 2002 as a member of the News Online team. But I quickly realised how much I loved broadcasting too and have spent the past three years producing, reporting and reading the news on BBC London 94.9. I've also been a TV reporter on BBC London’s news programmes and the Politics Show.

Get in touch

I love the way news constantly changes and want to make sure I'm reporting the stories that affect you – on TV, Radio and Online.

Newham and Tower Hamlets are going to experience some enormous changes over the next few years in the run up to the Olympics. For better or for worse? I want you to tell me, and the rest of London, what it means to you.

But it’s not just about 2012 – get in touch and let me know what else is happening in your area.
