My career in journalism began aged eight writing for my school paper. From then on I decided that this was the career for me. I’ve never looked back and after four years working in the main BBC London television newsroom I’m looking forward to meeting you all individually, collectively and as a community.

I want to discover what impacts on your daily lives and what makes you laugh, smile or cry.

It’s going to be a real voyage of discovery and I am looking forward to it immensely.
