Which celebrity do you think would be a good Mayor of London? Asked if they could vote for a high-profile face to fun for Mayor, 31% of Londoners opted for restaurateur, Ramsay. A distant second with 14% was David Walliams of Little Britain fame and Prince Harry, fresh from his military stint in Afghanistan, was in third with 13%. The survey of 1,000 registered voters in the capital was commissioned by the online betting exchange, Betfair, and found that Londoners consider Ken Livingstone to be the more trustworthy of the two – with 26 per cent of people believing him to be more likely to keep his election promises compared to Boris Johnson's 17 per cent. However, Boris Johnson, who is arguably just as well known for his TV appearances as he is for his politics, would be the candidate of choice if Londoners somehow found themselves stranded on a desert island with either of the two contenders.
