Simon Lederman is a regular presenter of Drivetime when Eddie is away and also sits in for Vanessa Feltz.  He is a regular contributor to The Robert Elms show every Thursday.

Many people remember Simon for the famous "Bank of Lights" on his old Late Night Show.  This was an apparently real bank of lights where every listener had a bulb dedicated to them. Each time they switched on the radio, their light would light and then they would then get a mention.  It still makes an appearance from time to time.  Since then Simon has been dubbed "Captain Lentil" by some listeners who interpret some of his views as Liberal - although no one is sure how he votes!

Simon is London born and bred.  He has had many glamorous on-air broadcasting 'wives' including Lowri Turner, Linda Robson, Kath Melandri, Julia Bradbury, Michelle Gayle, Edwina Currie and Lesley Joseph.  Who is his favourite?  He declined to answer….
