Tom Cruise has been in Leicester Square on a two-hour walkabout meeting and greeting fans and posing for pictures ahead of the premiere of his latest film. Lions for Lambs, a drama exploring the consequences of the war in Afghanistan, is being screened at this year's London Film Festival. It stars Meryl Streep and Robert Redford - and hitherto unknown London actor Andrew Garfield, making his film breakthrough alongside Hollywood royalty. But all eyes were on Cruise as he got up close to the crowds who turned out to see him in one of the festival's key events. "really nice"Asked how he felt about London audiences, the 45-year-old star said, "It's just very warm. They love movies and it's an experience I look forward to when I come here.
