Drivetime goes global

In collaboration with BBC World Service Kath and Eddie partake in a very special global debate about our multicultural capital city.

The BBC World Service is hosting a special "London Week" from 18th - 25th August.  Seven days of special programming dedicated to the the UK's capital city.

On Friday 24th August BBC World Service's international phone-in programme 'World Have Your Say' hooks up with our own Drivetime programme to host an international debate looking at London as a multicultural city.  Kath and Eddie will partake in a very ambitious simulcast from four radio stations in major capitals around the world, London, Sydney, New York and Toronto.  The theme of this global radio programme - "Is London the best role model for a multicultural city?".

Can London compete against the three other cities to claim the crown as the most multicultural city in the world?  Find out this coming Thursday at 6pm on BBC London 94.9.  You can contribute to the programme with your opinions and experiences in the usual ways.
