David Cameron - extended interview

David Cameron spoke at length to BBC London TV News' Riz Lateef. Watch the full exclusive interview online.

David Cameron has set up a committee to advise him about the progress of the 2012 Olympics.

He told BBC London's Riz Lateef he was taking the necessary steps to ensure he had all the facts about The Games for when his party took power after the next election.

Mr Cameron went on to say that it wasn't his place to suggest where the shortfall should could from but he did say the budget needed to be "nailed down" now to avoid uncertainty and enable London to host the best Olympics possible.

He also talked to Riz about the Conservative Party's plans for next year's mayoral elections.
