Fear Of Flying

Getting in a lather over Fear Of Flying?

Fear Of Flying

Weaving intricate riffs with twangy bass, Fear Of Flying have made themselves into an amazing technicolour pop outfit...

Fear of Flying are made up of front man Harry, Charles on bass and backing vocals and Jack on drums and backing vocals.

With two members playing together since they were just sixteen, the group were finally completed as a three-piece two years ago and have spent the past year working harder than ever towards the repertoire they have today.

Fear of Flying, face masks

Fear of Flying ...and breathing!

Based in Ealing, the band name-check Talking Heads, Paul Simon and Field Music as big influences on their work and say they aim to create ornate and intricate pop.

When we asked them which song they'd most like to cover, Fear Of Flying told us, "We're working on You Can Call Me Al, by Paul Simon, at the moment... if that fails then maybe we'll just stick to our own music!"

first creative work

The band say that hearing the finished track, Forget-me-nots, the B-side to their forthcoming single, was one of their favourite moments together, describing it as, "the first creative work that we were truly proud of."

This second single, Three's A Crowd, will be released on the small independent London-based label Young & Lost Club Records.
