Rotating Leslie Live

Rotating Leslie

Gritty indie art-pop. And there's more...

East London / Hertfordshire based five piece band Rotating Leslie have been together for a year and are made up of Greg Phizacklea (vocals) Adrian Timbers (guitar) Dan Cox (guitar) Stuart Timbers (bass) and Lee Hague (drums).

"Bouncy, jerky, infectious indie anthems."

ROUGH TRADE

The band's influences have their roots in gritty indie rock and include Maximo Park, Pearl Jam, Led Zepplin and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.

No strangers to the live scene the band had lots to report on this year's festivals. Their most memorable moment so far, they say, was, "Headlining The Platform One stage at The Isle of White Festival and playing the secret garden party, where we gave our single to Tim Love Lee who dropped Piss in The Disco (b-side to Fire! Fire!) which erupted the dance tent! Very Surreal indeed."

Greg and Adrian living the dream

The song featured on London Calling, Friday Friday, has just been released by the band themselves. It can be found in specialist record shops in London, or from the band's website. The website also has details of all Rotating Leslie's current tour dates.
