The Friday Late Show - films, books, guests & Tessa's unique brand of chat

Tessa Dunlop presents the Late Show every Friday evening from 10pm-2am. The show is a cheeky mix of Tessa’s topical and fun take on life in London, the latest news stories, celebrity gossip and lifestyle discussions. No subject is out of bounds! There is also a round-up of the new film releases each week, and your chance to review the latest DVDs, new film releases and theatre performances.

To contact Tessa either ring 020 7224 2000 or text 07786 200 949 during the show.

A little bit about Tessa...

Camberwell is Tessa’s base and history is her passion!

Apart form her entertainment show on BBC London 94.9, she can be seen on London TV where she reviews London Theatre and Exhibitions.

She was the History expert on Bill Oddie’s History Hunters (BBC2) and studied her craft at Oxford.

Her dream is to own a flat with a garden and a bird table!

Tessa's Favourite Film of all time - ‘A Room With A View’ - "I was at an impressionable age when it came out! (Nothing to do with Daniel Day Lewis of course)"

Favourite Cinema - The Ritzy in Brixton, I’ve always lived near it, they show great films, it has a wonderful vibe and is near a great clothes shop called ‘Joy’ - what more could you want?

Favourite Museum - has to be the Imperial War Museum; big guns, great art and touching stories. Go during the week or you’ll be ambushed by the world, his wife and all their children.

Favourite Restaurant - Sergios in Great Titchfield Street W1. I fell in love with the place 10 years ago, when I was a runner ordering pasta bake for the mighty Chris Evans.

It’s an Italian run by a Greek family who are gorgeous and make a chicken kiev that is out of this world!

Favourite Book - ‘A Secret History’ by Donna Tart. To fully get this book you need to have a hint of the weird about you, it is a totally disturbed, amazingly clever thriller.

It has nothing to do with London but is the finest way to kill a grey afternoon.
