Firstly up at the crack of dawn to fit it all in! I’d go to the London Dungeons and on the Jack the Ripper tour which I've been on twice already. I’d then hop on the Frog Tours boat and chug up the Thames past the magnificent view of the Houses of Parliament. Food would feature at high points throughout the day - something spicy chased down with a fine wine and then off to the theatre to catch a matinee and get lost in some quality entertainment. Then a chatty long supper with friends in an atmospheric and inexpensive restaurant. Favourite tube station The one that’s closest to my house. What one thing would improve travelling in London? I used to live in The Netherlands where bicycles are favoured over cars. It would be great to see less traffic on the roads but until the tube, train and bus situation improves I don’t blame people for hopping into their cars. What's your antidote to nightmare journeys? Having someone to share it with, deep breathing to alleviate panic attacks, water to combat dehydration and asking for a refund when you eventually get off! Favourite book to read on the tube An impossible choice to make! I am regularly found hiding from my fellow passengers behind a newspaper. | | | last updated: 05/06/08 | SEE ALSO
