Over the last five years the Drivetime team have been keeping you up to date with all the latest news for London.

Eddie Nestor, who in a previous life was an actor and comedian, joined forces with BBC London journalist Kath Melandri in 2003. They disagreed all the way!

Now Kath has gone on to pastures new, Eddie and his dedicated team bring you the London news stories that matter to you, plus all important weather and travel information every 15 minutes to get you home quickly and keep you warm and dry.

A MESSAGE FROM KATH

"I'm leaving Drivetime to pursue other projects and learn new skills (I promise I wasn't pushed!).  Over the last five and half years I've really enjoyed talking to Londoners about the news of the day. Thanks to all the listeners who've sent lovely good luck messages to me, I really appreciate it and will miss chatting to you all.
