Send us your mobile video review

Want to get your Word of Mouth review on the BBC? Here are the rules:

Be imaginative, creative, clear and concise. Don't forget to tell us what the event/place is and where we can see it.
Don't swear.
Make sure all participants in any video you submit are 16 and over and give their consent to be featured.
Flashing us your bits isn't big or clever. Don't get naked.
Don't use music unless you've made it yourself and you want us to use it.
Don't include any video you've taken from a film, TV show or DVD.
Don't use pictures you've stolen off the internet.
Do make sure that whatever you send in is suitable for broadcast on this website or on TV (if we decide it's that good!)

How to:

To send in a video from your mobile, text your video to 60011 and add 'CULTURE' in the subject field. Don't forget to include your name and location and tell us what event you're reviewing in the main body of the message.

Sending video messages from your mobile to the BBC can cost up to 60p, depending on your network. Contact your phone operator for more details.

Also, do make sure you read the BBC Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before sending us your video. Here's a useful page with answers to frequently asked questions about UGC terms.

 

Video Upload.

If you have a video you've made about an event, subject or person related to Liverpool's Capital of Culture year, you can upload it here and we'll consider playing it here on the BBC's Liverpool08 website.

Don't forget to include your name, e-mail address and as much background information as possible about the image or video. You should also include your telephone number just in case we need to get back to you.

Videos can be a maximum of 10 MB and we can accept the following formats: avi, wmv, 3GP, MPEG, asf, mov, wav & mp4.

When taking photos or filming please do not endanger yourself or others, take unnecessary risks or infringe any laws. Please read our Terms and Conditions for the full terms of our rights.

Have you seen a great gig, event or exhibition? Perhaps you have a favourite cultural location you think is underrated? Word of Mouth is your chance to tell the world. Just point your mobile phone video camera at yourself and tell us clearly and concisely what you do and don't like about your chosen event or place then send it to us using the instructions above. Keep it clean and 60 seconds or less.
