Went to arena on Friday to see the spider and was unsure at first if I liked what I saw, think I would have preferred the keeping of the bananalambs. I did change my mind however and was impressed by what I saw but there was a downside to this. We were unlucky enough to be in the line of fire of the water cannon that spouted out a stream of water without warning, even though it was a wet day we were absolutely soaked and having travelled in on public transport it was a consideral time before we would get home again. We were dripping wet and very soon feeling very very cold, we are both O.A.P's, myself being asthmatic. My husband went to use his mobile phone which was in his anorak pocket to find it dead and dripping with water. He took it to a mobile repairer only to be told to 'bin it' there was no way it would work again, so our outing proved quite costly.
we saw it walking down church street on saturday ... amazing!
I went to see the spider by St Georges hall my family enjoyed the fire display and the spider climing up the building.
The people absailing off the spider was also fantastic
