19-year-old Emma Doneghan is on a mission to show what Liverpool can do.
Emma will be sailing for the first time when she races to Maloy on the Stavros S Niarchos. As a Liverpool girl, she wants to dispel negative images of the city's young people.

Good luck with your mission Emma, we will be visiting Liverpool for the first time this weekend, and know it will be an amazing experience to see the ships, and visit the home town of our football club too

Hi Emma
I went down on Friday to see the tall ships and I went aboard 4 of them including the Stavros S Niarchos and spoke to a girl called Charlotte who boarded in London and she sailed to Ireland before coming to Liverpool before she disembarked and her highlights were climing to the top in the rigging but she was gutted she missed seeing dolphins on 2 occasions,so keep your eyes peeled and let us know if you see any,but most of all enjoy yourself and make lots of new friends.
