Curator Tobias G. Natter talks about the art of Klimt.
The Tate in Liverpool is celebrating 2008 and its own 20th birthday with the first comprehensive exhibition of Gustav Klimt's work ever staged in the UK. In our video private view, curator Tobias G. Natter introduces some key paintings and explains how Klimt's now iconic decorative style fits into the art movement he helped to found.
Gustav Klimt: Painting, Design and Modern Life in Vienna 1900 is at Tate Liverpool until 31 August 2008.
