Some heavy rain later tonight and at first tomorrow.

This Evening and Tonight:
Any showers this evening will tend to die out for a time around midnight. A band of heavy rain will spread into Lancashire and across into the Pennines by the end of the night with some snow on higher ground.

Saturday:
A wet start for parts of Lancashire although the rain is unlikely to move into Cumbria. Things improve during the afternoon as the rain moves away. Feeling quite cold everywhere.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Wet and windy on Sunday with some snow over high ground. Brighter on Monday but feeling cold with a few scattered showers. Fine at first on Tuesday but rain later.
