NORTHWOOD
COMMUNITY GARDEN - AN OASIS IN THE MIDDLE OF KIRKBY
Local
organisations and Knowsley Borough Council have worked together
to turn wasteland next to the Northwood House site into a community
garden with help from CETT, the Community Environmental Task Team.
It
won't be long before the garden is open for everyone to enjoy. Sisters
Sue and Lynne Smith have been involved in the plans from the very
beginning. Sue works for the SRB office in the Northwood area and
Linda is involved with the Residents Association.
