Mockbeggar
Theatre Company is in demand locally, nationally and more recently
- internationally. Their aim is to work with disabled and deaf people
to develop their skills and knowledge through theatre workshops
and performances.
They
work in partnership with other organisations to improve access to
provision for artists, performers and practitioners of Learning
Difficulties. We'll follow the group as they continue to educate
and entertain. Actors will tell us about their experiences on the
stage and in schools as they take their popular workshops into the
local classroom.

Auditions
will take the form of a workshop and people will not be asked to
perform individual pieces. The Mockbeggar actors will interview
hopefuls and in turn they'll be given the opportunity to tell them
about their experience and ambitions. Theyre looking for three
new performers who have experience of producing theatre for audiences
and who would enjoy working in a team.
Auditions
will be held on Tuesday, 24th June and again a week later on Tuesday,
1st July at "The Door" - home of Merseyside Youth Association,
that's in Hanover Street, Liverpool. You will need to arrive by
1pm. For more information, ring Sue O'Brien on 07939 505175 and
good luck!
