Ok, so you know you should be using the stairs instead of the lift and parking miles away from the door of the supermarket - but you work on the 10th floor and it's chucking down with rain!

But if you want to notice a real difference in the way you look and feel, you're gonna have to work it girl!

Set yourself an exercise timetable and stick to
it. If you can, arrange to exercise with a friend, you are less likely to skive a session when it looks a bit cold outside.

If money is your excuse think again! Running is one of the most effective ways to get fit, lose weight and reduce stress. It is also great for body toning and all you need is a pair of trainers and the open road!

If you are running alone however, make sure you stick to main roads and let someone know your planned route and what time to expect you back.

But if you like the warmth and social experience of the gym, then why not take advantage of one of your local Council run sports centres.

Not only are they a lot more gentle on your pocket but they also run plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained and in shape.
