vivienne westwoodWhat makes Vivienne Westwood clothing different?

"Liverpool people are famous for liking clothes and fashion, they are very social and lively people and we know that they like clothes"

"The thing that makes my clothes really different is that number one they are really great designs, they're not tacky they are very professional, the design is made from lots of decisions.

"The difference between fashion and what people normally wear is that fashion is what do and what people normally wear is consumerism".

"There is fashion and then there is mass consumption... it's just stamped out clothing, I think it is brain damage. I don't think there is any culture".

What should people expect when they come to Vivienne Westwood?

"People who sell clothes want people to try things on. It's wonderful isf people want to try things on... there's nothing against anyone trying on the whole shop. It is a great thing to wear these clothes and there's so much choice".

"You will look different from anybody else, the paradox is that the more strong your clothes the more strong your personality. The more bland and normal and ordinary your clothes are, the more you look it".

"I don't care how many beauty treatments you have, I don't care which bag you're carrying - you have to have a dress".

"I don't care if you get up in the morning and don't wash, don't put any make-up on, don't do your hair even, but you have to have clothes if you want to look different".

The Vivienne Westwood store is situated on Mathew Street and also has an entrance in Cavern Walks. It houses all of Vivienne Westwood’s lines including Gold Label, Red Label, MAN and Anglomania.
