Liverpool's Rawhide Comedy club is set to move to bigger premises. The club which began in the foyer of the Everyman theatre in 1995 is to move to the 400 seat Central Hall venue on Mount Pleasant. Rawhide has been putting on shows at both Baby Blue and The Cotton Club but will now manage all aspects of the evening at Central Hall. The club is looking to introduce new features such no smoking nights.

Rawhide has had several homes since its launch in 1995; it spent three years at Life Café before moving to the 200 seater Baby Blue in September 2000, where shows have been regularly selling out. The club plans to continue expanding with the reintroduction of regular Thursday night shows from May and plans to introduce Sunday shows from June.

Rawhide's owner Kevin Fearon says "Baby Blue has been a great venue for us over the past three yeas but we have outgrown the room and the prospect of bigger and better events at Central Hall is very exciting. For the first time Rawhide will manage all aspects of the evening including the food, drink and after show experience."

Central Hall will provide full disabled access and seating for all, as well as waitress service. The first shows in the new venue will be on the weekend of 7th and 8th May.
