LIPA's new Autumn and Winter season kicks off with Shakespeare and takes in dance, Berkoff and a variety of community arts. The productions are all performances from LIPA's final year students.

The season begins in the Paul McCartney Auditorium on 13th November with As You Like It, an exuberant romp through the rapture and despair of youth and true love.

Silence by Moira Bufini is an absurd millenium play about rebirth and discovery of self, with obscene French accents throughout. It's the tale of Ymma who is exiled from France to England, ending up in Cumbria.

Dance is provided by Breaking Boundaries with a range of styles from the wealth of LIPA's new dance talent. Breaking Boundaries brings together in-house and visiting choreographers with the team that earlier this year performed Buck Tibs and Gussets.

Steven Berkoff's Metamorphosis is the physical retelling of the story of a boy who turns into an insect. Closer Than Ever, is an idiosyncratic song cycle with music by David Shire and lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr.

LIPA's final year Community Arts students present an exhilirating week of original events in Community Fest from 8th -12th December.
