This issue of Mersey Times is a pictorial history, from Scottie Press's archive, of one of the most lively areas of the city.

The Scottie Press is Britain's longest running, and award winning, community newspaper. It has served the Scotland Road and Vauxhall Road areas of Liverpool for 30 years.

Ron Formby has been a photographer for Scottie Press for 20 years and has created a vast photographic archive of the area.
