Natalie McCoolSinger-songwriter Natalie McCool has a bright future ahead. With her timeless acoustic sound, this Widnes native has recently begun collaborating with celebrated producer Steve Levine. BBC Introducing presents a rising star for 2009. Born in 1988 and hailing from Widnes, Cheshire, Natalie McCool debuted her musical talent onto the UK music scene at an early age, performing all original material. As a singer and acoustic guitarist, Natalie has been inspired by an eclectic mix of artists and describes her influences as Suzanne Vega, Damian Rice, Gomez, Coldplay and KT Tunstall among others. A bright futureNatalie is currently working with producer Steve Levine who has worked with established artists such as The Beach Boys, Steve Winwood, Robin and Barry Gibb and Culture Club. As a result, Natalie’s debut EP is due for release in Spring 2009, accompanied by a UK tour.
