Over 70 Tall Ships will be berthed in Liverpool's docks over the weekend of 18 to 21 July, 2008. The ships will be located in Wellington Dock, Sandon Half Tide Dock, Albert Dock, Canning Dock and Canning Half Tide Dock. Tall Ships berthing plans (PDF reader required) Ships at Wellington Dock and Sandon Half Tide Dock will be open to the public from 10am to 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. ![]() Download maps of the Tall Ships berths The smaller ships berthed in Albert Dock, Canning Dock and Canning Half Tide Dock will only be available for viewing and are not open to the public. A shuttle bus will run every 10 to 15 minutes from St Nicholas's Place close to the Albert Dock north to Wellington and Sandon Dock, tickets cost £1 or are free with a park and ride ticket or pensioner travel pass. The Lord Nelson berthed in Wellington Dock has wheelchair access.
