![]() Beetham West Tower under construction Liverpool's newest skyscraper, the 40 storey Beetham West Tower is nearing completion. Beetham West Tower stretches 450 feet above street level near to Old Hall Street in Liverpool city centre. The building which commands breathtaking views across the Mersey is close to Beetham's first tower at the northern end of Old Hall Street. The 34th floor of the building will become Britain's highest restaurant. The tower will contain 127 apartments, a third of which have already been sold at an average cost of £250,000. The tower has views right across the city, over the Mersey to Wirral and even as far as Blackpool on a clear day.
