The Aims of the Radio Merseyside Charitable TrustThe Trustees are committed to raise funds to provide financial assistance by awarding grants and donations to organisations and associations who establish a clear need within the BBC Radio Merseyside broadcasting area. This includes people living in Sefton, Knowsley, St. Helens, Halton, Warrington and Chester - not just Liverpool and Wirral. The Trustees aim to co-operate with voluntary bodies and statutory authorities operating in similar charitable fields to exchange information and advice. The Trustees issue appeals to generate further income. In addition to this, they arrange for fundraising events to be organised throughout Merseyside. The BeneficiariesOrganisations who have received the help of the Trust include: Kids Wheel Association How You Can HelpOrganise an event to raise funds or adopt the Trust as your chosen charity.
