You can join the festivities by enjoying free Street Theatre at the base of the Big Screen and broadcast live on the giant monitor on Saturday 3rd December and Saturday 10th December. Performances begin at 1pm and 3pm. Saturday 3rd December - COCKTAILS FOR TWO This charming and stylishly crafted variety show takes the audience back to a 1940's Hollywood cocktail bar. Two enigmatic performers create a theatrical story set to an atmospheric soundtrack. All action packed with highly skilled routines, comedy, magic and dance. JOHN LENNON DAY Thu 8th Dec, we celebrate the legacy of John Lennon with an *exclusive* video broadcast from BBC 6 Music of rare documentary footage and archive material in an hour-long feature; preceded by live music on site. Reporters will be present in Clayton Square to feed audience response live into Steve Lamacq’s radio show on 6 Music (www.bbc.co.uk/6music) and numbers are expected to be high.
