Gamma Ray Sam

Unsigned Band: Gamma Ray Sam

This month the unsigned section takes a listen to Dom Bryan. Dom is the Singer/Songwriter with leftfield observationalists Gamma Ray Sam.

Dom started writing songs about the age of 18 after giving up the drums and moving onto the guitar. After a period pursuing a completely different career, through his early twenties, he reached the age of 25...

At this point he decided he had to leave the well-trodden path and continue along the bumpy and twisty path, without any kind of small, hairy, big footed ginger lamp holder to guide him.

Gamma Ray Sam

Gamma Ray Sam have been recording over the past 18 months with various musicians contributing, and finally the right tunes have surfaced to open the bidding on a forthcoming album - 'A Short Course In Long Term Happiness.'

The album will be out in the summer, meanwhile the band have already started gigging in Liverpool.

Gamma Ray Sam are:

Dom Bryan - lead vocals/guitar
Wams - keyboards
Pete/Bobby - bass guitar
Paul - drums

Radio1 website:

"The moment 'This is Yours' kicks in you know there's something different about Gamma Ray Sam - GRS are no one-trick pony with an alluring pastoral vibe that urinates on the likes of Badly Drawn Boy from a great height. Job well done, then."

Live Dates:

Coming Soon.
