Here is the full transcript

"I think I called me dad, father - I'm quite formal, mother and father."
Hedley Smith

HEDLEY: We used to call me granddad "dad", just "dad", and I remember him taking me to school one day - junior school - and the headmistress says "oh hello Mr Smith" and he says "oh I'm not Mr Smith" - of course it was on me mother's side, his name was Mastin, but I'd said "dad's brought me to school but it was me granddad really", so... TITCH: Does that mean you called your dad "dad" an'all? HEDLEY: Erm - I think I called me dad father - I'm quite formal, mother and father, but me granddad was "dad", always "dad" to me - strange child, wasn't I? (laugh)
