C is for Cathedral Code. In April 2005 when a bizarre depiction was discovered at the scene of The Last Supper at the Great East Window it gave Dan Green pause for thought. Instead of a cup or loaf of bread upon Jesus' platter, there is a dog. Further investigation discovered a number of other interlocking anomalies in and around Lincoln Cathedral, which researcher Callum Jensen attests leads to a final location in the Cathedral precincts >>

C
is for Coleby Grange. Coleby Grange W.W.II Control Tower is just one of many old towers seen littering the Lincolnshire landscape. Many of these remote buildings are reputed to be haunted by airmen.

C is for Crop Circles. Lincolnshire has had it's fair share - one was found at Scremby in 1996 on the 15th August comprising of two circles with circle diameters at 92ft 34 ft. Find out about Andy Helgesen's investigations of a crop circle near Lincoln >>

C is for Catacombs. Lincoln is meant to have whole host of tunnels running underneath the city. Also, supposedly there are a lot of catacombs beneath Stamford. These link the churches, old pubs, the Corn Exchange, St. Leneods priory and supposedly went right out to Wothorpe Priory. "I came about these stories after my sister was lead boy in the local Panto at the Corn Exchange and when I turned 18 and started drinking. The changing rooms for the actors/actresses were below floor level and there was a door that they were not allowed to open. This supposedly led to the catacombs" - Tim Hitch >>
