Rebecca
Sands from Lincoln scooped the New Designers Tigerprint Award Part
Two. She has been awarded £1,500 and a four-week placement at
Tigerprint which is a division of Hallmark Cards plc and has been
the sole supplier to Marks and Spencers for the past 10 years.
According
to the judges it was Rebecca's quirky illustrations and fantastic
sketch books as well as her great attitude which really stood out.
The
21-year-old also won the New Designers International Greetings Award,
receiving £1,000 and a four-week placement at International
Greetings, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers

"New
Designers was such a great exhibition, so inspiring and a great
experience," said Rebecca. "I was so surprised to get
the awards and it's nice to have something to show for all the hard
work. I would really love to have a career in illustration and this
is a great starting point."
Meanwhile
