Poacher 2004: 31st July - 7th August
Scouts at Poacher 2004.
Poacher 2004 International Scout and Guide Camp was in Lincoln from 31st July to 7th August. Around 4500 people from 12 countries took part in an action packed week of activities. Find out more about the event below:

Poacher 2004 was held at the Lincoln Showground. The site saw thousands of Scouts and Guides from around the world taking part in activities based around the theme of the camp.

This year the theme was Movies. Sub-camps included Cartoon Capers, Fantasy, Action-Adventures, Comedy, Super Heroes and Westerns.

Poacher 2004 was a full Activity Camp, where campers were occupied most of the time, mainly in the Activity Village, but with some activities off site and additional trips to local places of interest.

On the last night of the jamboree, every person on the campsite gathered together for one last celebration - a mega concert/rave.
