Solar Panelled Church

A church in Lincolnshire is doing its bit to help the environment by having solar panels fitted.

In what is the largest installation of its kind, 54 solar panels have been clamped to the roof of St Denys' church in Sleaford.

The panels have been fitted without damaging the Grade 1 listed building and nearly all of the work was funded by grants.

Not only is it a way of helping protect the environment, but they are also feeding electricity back into the National Grid for others to use.
