Julie Hollman

Representing Great Britain in the Heptathlon in Beijing.

Julie Hollman is a member of the Birchfield Harriers Club and originally comes from Market Deeping where her parents still live.

At the age of 11 Julie joined the local athletics club with her sister Anne, who has also competed at international level in the in the same event.

Interesting facts

Personal best result - 6135 points, achieved in June 2002 in Götzis.

Finished fifth at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, fourteenth at the 2003 World Championships and sixth at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

This is Julies' first Olympics and her aim is to set a new personal best.
