'Blogging' (short for 'Web Logging') is a means of writing down information online, for everybody to see.  This information usually takes the form of an online journal, with people writing down their daily activities and thoughts.  There are numerous blogging websites, where users simply register and are then able to keep their own blogs.

Dave and Judy have decided to try it out to see what all the fuss is about, and you can click the links at the top or the bottom of this article to have a look at what they are writing.

Blogs can be written about virtually anything - some people keep an online diary, some choose to write about their hobbies and interests; others use them to give their opinions on political issues.  Whatever the topic may be, blogs are growing in popularity, and are becoming more and more commonplace in cyberspace.
