Caistor Yarborough School - Behind The Mask

The years you spend at secondary school are memorable for every pupil, but once you've gone what happens in those old familiar classrooms and corridors. This film 'Behind the Mask' looks at the past, present and future of a school in Lincolnshire.

Have you ever wondered who is using your old locker at school? Who is sitting in your seat by the window in the geography classroom? Or maybe what happened to that boy who was good at art?

The Parachute Project team, 'Utmost Productions' from the Caistor Yarborough School filmed an intimate look at their school, sitting at the heart of the community nestled within a quiet rural town.

Pupils who sat in front of the blackboards in the 1950s were interviewed, along with a finalist from the X-factor who works at the school – as well as a former student who has just come back from Iraq serving with the British Army. They also spoke to children who're getting ready for the move up to the ‘big school’. Each had different thoughts on why this secondary school is important in their lives.
