I have a great team of Leaders and Helpers so my job is quite an easy one (just don't let on to the District Commissioner!)

Since January I have also taken on the additional role of Media Development Manager for the whole of Lincolnshire, a role as big as the County, but in Centenary year – something definitely worth talking about!  Don't be fooled though.

As much as we all love being involved in Scouting across Lincolnshire, our job is becoming increasingly more difficult.  But we are really victims of our own success!

With over 4,000 Young People involved in Scouting in the County, and with a ratio of at least one adult to every six children, it is not hard to understand just how many adults are required to run our 95+ local Groups.

Lincolnshire Scouting already relies heavily on it’s 650+ volunteer adult Leaders and Helpers, but the demand is getting ever greater. . . .

More and more Young People want to join our Groups, to do what their friends are already having fun doing – but this means we need more adults.

Whether it is an hour a week to help at a Beaver session, or an hour a month to be part of a fund-raising committee – Scouting in Lincolnshire needs you!
