When will BBC Radio Lincolnshire be on DAB?

It's one of the questions we get asked all the time. So, we asked BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Editor, Charlie Partridge, if he could come up with the answer...

This, unfortunately, is one of those things that is completely beyond our control but there is some good news.

OFCOM has now awarded the local digital radio multiplex licence for Lincolnshire.

It's been a long time coming, but this means BBC Radio Lincolnshire could be broadcasting on DAB early in 2010.

If you just can't wait for digital, don't be put off

Just because you have a digital radio it doesn't mean you can't use it to listen to your favourite BBC Radio Lincolnshire programmes.

Many DAB radios these days also have an FM option - which means you can hear us loud and clear on 94.9FM and 104.7FM in Grantham

So if you haven't yet bought a digital radio, you might like to consider ensuring the one you choose has this facility.

You can also 'listen live' to BBC Radio Lincolnshire over the internet.
