Spider lane!

It’s like a science fiction movie. Lincoln underpass has so many spiders living there that a lane has been created for them.

It is not known who created the spider lane but it is certainly rousing some public interest. And this isn’t the only place people have seen an increase of Arachnid activity.

On our wildlife and sightings page, someone reported 100,000's Spiders on migration between Donington on Bain Ridge and Burwell.

A warning sign.

Watch out for the spiders!

There is even a sign warning people about how venomous they might be but  Roger Goy, wildlife expert, says “It’s most likely that they are mesh web spiders. They are not generally poisonous but I wouldn't pick one up.”

Walking through the underpass may now bring a smile to your face but watch that you don’t tread on any spiders.
