I ran a business that specialised in providing advice to new expats moving abroad. Since 1997 I have been teaching seminars, writing books and articles that help you to find your passion, find your writer's voice and find your feet- wherever you may find yourself living in the world.

My husband's work in The Hague.

What do you do now?

The same!

What is your favourite thing about where you live now?

Cycling, close proximity to the rest of Europe, local concerts and cheap public transport.

What do you miss about Lincolnshire?

My parents and Stamford.

Additional Comments

As a writer I have always had a portable career and draw my inspiration from where I am based. I have lived in Dubai, Oman and Norway, as we have moved with my husband's work in the oil industry. I have two kids who attended school in Stamford, now aged 13 and 14.
