We have all the travel information you need here: By Rail:Some additional services and special trains operate during the market. Contact National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950 for timetable information. The railway station is in the High Street quarter and it is a 15 minutes walk up Steep Hill to the Christmas Market. By Car:Follow the signs for Lincoln. We are easily accessible from the A1 using the newly dualled A46. Follow the black on yellow signs for 'Lincoln Christmas Market Cars'. This will take you to the Park and Ride Site. Please note, there is no public parking in the immediate vicinity of the Market. Park And Ride:Using the dedicated Lincoln Christmas Market Park and Ride is the easiest way to get to the Market. Follow the black on yellow 'Lincoln Christmas Market Cars' signs. This will take you to the Park and Ride Site at the Lincolnshire Showground. Buses operate around every 10 minutes (or will leave when full). First bus: The first bus will depart 30 mins before the start of the Market each day. The cost of the Park and Ride Service - £10 per car. Disabled Park and Ride:Valid blue-badge holders can use the dedicated Christmas Market Disabled Park and Ride. The Disabled Park and Ride service provides buses with the capacity for several wheelchair passengers at any time. The drop off and pick up point is just seconds away from the Market. Buses operate around every 10 minutes (or will leave when full). First bus: The first bus will depart 30 mins before the start of the Market each day. The cost of the Park and Ride Service - £10 per car. The Market can be very crowded with visitors, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays. A visit to the Market on Thursday evening or Friday may make your experience more enjoyable. CarparkingCar parks near the Market will be closed, however you can use the car parks down hill, Broadgate usually has capacity and costs only £2 all day at weekends. Or why not try the University’s car park, accessed off Rope Walk, which is opening at weekends during the Christmas period only!
