Therapists Wendy Trollope and Jodie Aitken, transmit Reiki. (pronounced Ray Key)

Reiki is described as universal life force. It can be used to heal all kinds of ailments and is said to heal the physical, emotional mental and spiritual.

The healer transmits the energy by laying hands on the patient.

Jodie got into Reiki after suffering a few personal setbacks including a loss in the family. She found that the practice helped to heal her emotionally.

Wendy got into it after finding out that she had a pituitary adenoma which cause severe headaches and an imbalance of hormones. Since doing Reiki she very rarely has headaches and has a lot more inner peace.

Both therapists have been working together since January.

Colour Therapy

Aura Soma is another Lincolnshire based healing system. Anne Dever was the colour consultant at the event.

Choose four bottles from a selection of 98

The system is based on coloured oils which are in bottles of which there are 98.

You choose four bottles that you are attracted to and from this a consultant can assist you in connecting at a deep level.

The first bottle represents your personality or the gifts you have, the second is about your challenges or difficulties that you face. The third is what is currently happening in your life and the forth points to future potential.

Therapist Anne Dever

Anne spent 17 years as a police officer before she came into this work. "I've always been fascinated by body language and colour'" says Anne. She now runs workshops to empower people including tips on diet.
