Are you a budding entrepreneur? Are you a young professional like Jonathan who is taking cyberspace by storm? Tell us about it -

Name: Jonathan Dolby
Age: 19
Occupation: Managing Director of internet-based public relations company.

Jonathan Dolby does not have the CV of your average teenager. Shortly after the completion of his A-levels Jonathan bought a laptop to assist with his studies as he prepared for university.

He bought it from Simons Computer Supplies and soon after formed an alliance with them. Ultimately this led to the founding of the company he is now in charge of, WebitPR.

The company is considered revolutionary as it has developed a unique way of sending press releases to news websites globally and then monitoring their impact.

The success of the company has meant that Jonathan has now become the Managing Director. He runs the company from the Allenby Road Industrial Estate and the company is
regarded as the only service of its kind in the world.

Adam Parker, Managing Director of Simons Computer Supplies (SCS) said he was very impressed with Jonathan when they first met. He could see the determination and planning that Jonathan had.

The business was launched in early 2001 but had to face the recession in the information technology and communications industries.

Despite this, the company has managed to take off and Jonathan is confident WebitPR can continue to succeed.

"We know we are operating in an industry going through hard times, but we have already begun to see signs of a recovery. The service itself is now producing some fantastic results, and I personally am looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead."
