James Corden

Confirmed for show five - 11th March 10:30pm on BBC Three

James Corden and Ruth Jones

James Corden stars in the cult comedy series Gavin and Stacey, which he created and wrote alongside Ruth Jones. Although James and Ruth do not play Gavin or Stacey (instead they play their best mates, Smithy and Nessa), it's often said they steal the show. James won Best Male Comedy Newcomer at the 2007 British Comedy Awards.

James' stage and screen credits are pretty impressive. He starred in Fat Friends and Teachers, and has made a guest appearance in Little Britain. He also played the role of Timms in the stage production of Alan Bennett's The History Boys, and starred in the radio and film versions too. It was Alan Bennett who told James to start writing his own comedy. James listened and three months later he and Ruth had completed the first series of Gavin and Stacey.
