Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell aka Blood Red Shoes from Brighton are the UK’s answer to the White Stripes. Sure there may only be two of them in the band, but they’re more than capable of creating a racket on stage.
The two rockers state they were ‘destined to make music together’ after both their previous bands split up. They’ve only been together since 2004 but have already played over 300 gigs and have supported the likes of Biffy Clyro and Maximo Park.
They’re ready to release their debut album ‘Box of Secrets’ in April 2008 through Mercury Records and say they called it that because ‘it’s things we can talk about with each other, but that we can’t share with anyone else’.
