From East Midlands Airport, British Midland offers scheduled flights to 14 European destinations and onward destinations from Brussels, Amsterdam and Frankfurt around the world. Eastern Airways, operates a three-times daily service to Aberdeen.

Tips for air travellers

  • Plan ahead and arrive at least hour before departure.
  • Make arrangements for pets, bicycles, golf clubs, or any oversized items when booking your flight.
  • Have your photo ID available or an alternate valid piece of identification.
  • Label all baggage, inside and out.
  • Place a trip itinerary inside your baggage. Keep an eye on your bags at all times, and don't accept packages from strangers.
  • Carry personal necessities (such as personal toiletries, prescription medicine, a change of clothing and valuables) with you.
  • Do not joke about having a bomb or firearm in your possession.
  • Do not pack fireworks, flammable materials, or pressure containers.
