Whatever
your interest - be it music, the great outdoors, politicis, religion,
photography, drama or cars - Loughborough University has a club
you can join.
If
it doesn't have a club, you can start up your own club - you only
need 19 others who are interested in joining you.

It
is co-ordinated by a sabbatical editor with regular contributions
from student volunteers who use the experience to start their careers
in print journalism.
There are seven exciting sections to Label - news, features, opinion,
arts, music, sport and style. Label
is your voice at University, so use it.
The
Media Centre at Loughborough University
The Media Centre at Loughbourough University
includes Loughborough Campus Radio (LCR), Label (the Student Magazine)
and AURA (media arm of the section).

The
Media Centre is state-of-the-art. It houses the student radio station,
Label, a recording studio and video production suite. A TV station
and web site design studio are currently in design.
Volunteering
at Loughborough University
If
you’re into making a positive impact on the local community by volunteering,
there are many projects you can help with - crime, sport, media,
IT, homelessness and all working with a wide variety of people.
It’s not all about signing your life away either. You can volunteers
for as little or as long as you like - once a month, once a week
or once a year, it’s up to you.
Volunteering
is also one way to get noticed by potential new employers. If you
want to stand out from the crowd, have a lot of fun and learn new

Loughborough
RAG is the fundraising section of the Union. It raised over
£235,000 last year for national and local charities.

Among
the charities RAG donates to are; Breast Cancer Campaign, Meningitis
Research, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Shelter.
RAG
Week, held in February each year, is the biggest fundraising week
with pub crawls, 5-a-side football, celebrity memorabilia and Union
theme nights all held in the name of raising money.
